With Gareth Stewart
Euro’s Executive Chef Gareth Stewart is inviting diners who are serious about good food to get an insight into his methods by dining at the chef’s table.
The nine-course degustation focuses on Stewart’s favourite produce. The menu will change with the seasons, but currently it includes dishes such as parsnip bark with cultured cream and black garlic; smoked Te Mana lamb shoulder with green harissa and sheep’s milk labneh; and crayfish raviolo with roast cauliflower and brown butter.
Diners will be seated at the open kitchen, with a full view of Stewart plating up each individual course, and will have the chance to question him about what he’s doing at each step.

Euro has reinvigorated the Viaduct. What's changed? Well, most obviously, it has a new executive chef. Gareth Stewart has moved over from Soul with aplomb, bringing his expertise and retaining the flair that has always been a strength of the place. Download the full review.
I think Euro is on the verge of something special. It’s been cut down to half of its original size, superchef Gareth Stewart has rebuilt the menu and suddenly everything feels almost perfect. Read the full Review at Viva.
The proper but still relaxed service, as always, was pitched at the perfect mid-point between knowledgeable and knowing. Our attentive waiter was not at all fazed by our decision to order seven dishes in all (nine counting dessert) and we were glad we did. Read the full review at the NZ Herald site
